We are looking for a Construction Manager for the Ostlänken project at Trafikverket.

This is a consultancy assignment. The stationing location is Stockholm.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The role involves acting as a construction manager for earthworks and foundation works within the Gerstaberg project, part of Ostlänken. The construction manager works as a resource reinforcement in the project organization, monitors the contractor's work regarding time, cost, content, technical requirements, and regulations, and is responsible for construction site safety and environmental protection. The role includes reporting on the progress of the work and providing support in production technical decisions. Work outside normal hours may occur.

Responsibilities

Provide feedback on the contractor's drawings and documents, and ensure that the completed work matches these

Ensure that the contract, drawings, schedule, and budget are adhered to

Monitor technology, quality, environment, work environment, and safety, and document deviations

Participate in communication with authorities, designers, property owners, and external parties

Manage changes and additional work as well as quantity deviations

Participate in design, construction meetings, financial meetings, and quality and environmental work

Act as BAS-U if needed and support in technical questions and decisions in production

Establish and maintain relationships with landowners and stakeholders

Coordinate with other technical branches and adjacent contracts

Monitor required permits, inspections, and final documentation

Ensure that norms, requirements, and regulations are followed by the designer and contractor

Ensure that documentation for the management phase is delivered

Requirements (Mandatory)

Have a university degree in road and civil engineering, or other education and experience that Trafikverket deems equivalent.

At least 7 years of experience in roles such as construction manager/site manager/production manager/project manager in the production phase.

Experience of at least 7 years in a leading role for the technical areas of earthworks and foundations as well as structures.

Experience working with large, complex construction contracts where the value per reference project must be at least 350 million SEK in today's monetary value.

Documented knowledge of AMA Construction, MER Construction, and contract law AB04 and ABT06

Valid driver's license B.

Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Desirable

Training:

Completed training in BAS-P and BAS-U.

Completed training in BASÄSKYDD and hold valid certification.

Completed training in BASTAB (TRV course on track stability)

You have good communication skills in projects where you have had the following contacts:

-Internally within the project organization

-With representatives from the contractor

-Externally with e.g. municipalities, county administrative boards, property owners

You are solution-oriented. The client values that the resource consultant:

-Can handle complex issues

-Actively works on problem-solving

-Sees logic and connections (100 sec)

You have at least 3 years of work experience in construction and civil engineering projects in and around railways, including the following tasks:

-Lead, structure, and coordinate

-Plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively

-Set and maintain timelines (200 sec)
